On Wednesday 12th June Grove House School held their very first Girl’s Day at Grove House. This event was closely linked to topics covered in PSHE lessons and was an opportunity for all girls in school, as a minority group, to get together, talk, share and support each other. Grove House were fortunate to have received help and a number of donations from businesses to run this event. Two MAC skincare experts attended the session to give demonstrations and talk to the pupils, Sam Wren Interiors gave an interior designing session and Delaware North provided an events management session. Grove House would like to thank Iceland, Waitrose, Dominos and Brentwood Kitchens for providing the food and Molten Brown, Lil-lets, LUSH and MAC makeup for providing the girls with products. Overall it was a very successful day for Grove House girls.
